In the first instance, the player playing as White should contact their opponent as soon as possible to arrange a date for their match. The window for playing Round One matches will open next Tuesday (21st October) and this opening stage of the competition needs to be completed by Tuesday, 2nd December.

Whenever possible, games should be played at the club on a Tuesday night with the preferred time limit of 75 minutes plus a 10-second increment. Results should be entered on the sheet on the club noticeboard and/or e-mailed to Paul Richardson as soon as possible"
